Bodegas Chacra came to being in 2004 when Piero Incisa della Rocchetta found an abandoned Pinot Noir vineyard that was planted in 1932. He took over the land and has been working with organic and biodynamic viticulture ever since. The Mainque chardonnay is done in collaboration with Mainque. The grapes, picked early, hold a refreshing salinity thanks to the alluvial soil.
