The Gabb family have been instrumental in putting South Africa's wine on millions of dinner tables around the world during the past 30 years. Today they channel their energy into a more modestly sized winery called Journey's End, where Bees Knees Chenin Viognier is made. It lies in Somerset West in the Western Cape, and enjoys beautiful views across False Bay. Journey's End do not grow their own grapes, so for Bees Knees winemaker Leon Esterhuizen sourced some really premium fruit from vineyards around Stellenbosch. He followed up a careful, cool vinification with two months of 'lees contact' - lees being residue solids from fermentation - so the wine gained added complexity and texture. Serve chilled with fish or chicken and mango salad.. Drink By Date - 31/12/2017. Allergens - Sulphites. Alcohol Units: 10.125
