Araldica is a large co-operative based in Piedmont with over 900ha of vineyards and 200 individual growers. The grapes for this Barolo come from the classic villages of Barolo itself, la Morra, Serralunga d'Alba and Grinzane Cavour This lovely ruby coloured wine exhibits aromas of plums, leather and violets. The palate is rich with red fruits, spice and a hint of smoke. The finish is long and complex. A great match for all sorts of foods from grilled steak, stewed beef, cep risotto or strong hard cheese.
