Wine DOMAINE JEAN MASSON ET FILS - The flagship of Domaine Masson's production, the Cœur d'Apremont cuvée comes each year from the same plots, selected with the greatest care by Jean-Claude Masson himself. The absolute grass cover of the soils and the age of these vines (80 years on average) cause a dramatic drop in yields. Thus, when the fruit is picked at optimum maturity, it expresses highly all its aromatic capacity. The result, after a long fermentation on fine lees, a powerful, straight wine, characterized by exceptional notes of candied fruit: apricot, fig and peach.
