The return of our AKA label - reserved for some of our top finds that must remain anonymous - brings with it a luscious appassimento that is fine silk in a glass. While we can't divulge the producer, the region of origin is abundantly clear; its rich black fruits, mouth-filling ripeness and unique and complex fruit and spice combinations could only come from the sun-drenched vineyards of Puglia, Italy. This is to be enjoyed best alongside strong cheeses and chargrilled meat and vegetables.
