19 Crimes Red Blend Tasting Notes

By Wine Expert, David Andrews, DipWSET

This is probably the classic wine of the range that comes to mind. It is fruity, intense, full bodied and velvety smooth. Since it is Australian, Shiraz was always going to be the main variety in the blend, which is mellowed by Merlot and given body weight by Cabernet Sauvignon. Expect flavours ranging from chocolate, blueberry, plum, blackberry, cherry and vanilla.

My favourite wine, heavy and fruity. Be aware, highest price £9.50 (which makes it very pricey for what it is. However, frequently on offer especially with the 25% off 6 which brings it to around £6 making it great value

19 crimes is honestly the most delightful wine. Taste & quality are superb. Nothing comes close to this particular brand, believe me I've tried a good few. This wine goes well on its own. Would highly recommend.

A full-bodied wine that tastes as though it should be a lot more expensive than it is. Decant it and impress friends with it, if you can manage not to drink it yourself.

Rating:   5/5

This wine is a full bodied red and tastes of a much more expensive wine, normally it sells for nearly a £10 also a great price, but this offer is really good for a subtle tasting full bodied red, worth a case at least.

Rating:   4/5

An excellent red worth the full price never mind the offer price. Quite full bodied and it does not taste like a young wine even though it is a 2014 vintage.

Review by , .
Rating:   5/5

At £6.75 this represent very good value as it is one of the better Aussie full bodied reds even though it is very young.
