New Waitrose Heston Fruit Cup
Michelin star chef Heston Blumenthal has launched his exclusive Fruit Cup with Waitrose. Based on Heston's award-winning Earl Grey & Lemon Gin, the gin is blended with elderflower, blackcurrant and raspberry liqueurs and infused with eight specially selected botanicals.
Heston Blumenthal comments, ‘My new seasonal drink is summer in a cup. I wanted to create a fresh, light taste that will refresh everyone on a summer’s day. The hint of Earl Grey is the finishing touch that makes it a truly British drink.’
How To Make Heston's Fruit Cup
Ingredients
- Raspberries
- Fresh ginger
- 1 part Heston from Waitrose Fruit Cup
- 2 parts ginger ale
- Sprig of rosemary
- Lime, zest and juice
Method
In a tall glass, place the raspberries and some peeled, fresh, sliced ginger. Mix the Heston Fruit Cup with the ginger ale, stir gently. Add lots of ice and a squeeze of lime. Garnish with fresh rosemary and lime zest.
