Go Naked this Summer
Yes, go Naked this Summer, perhaps not physically (unless you fancy a trip to the Brighton naturist beach) but with your wine choices. Naked are the wine merchant that give you the naked truth (time to stop using that word?) about their wines, where they are from, how they are made and even the story and winemaking background of each and every winemaker behind the wines that you’re bound to fall in love with.
The big word that might put you off is “subscription” but when it comes to Naked, they are not a subscription in the traditional sense. You aren’t left with stacks of wine cases piling up that you don’t want. Instead, you make a monthly contribution into your Naked Wines piggy bank. You’d have spent that on wine at the supermarket anyway, so what’s wrong with some forward-thinking saving? Not to mention that the wine you’ll end up with will simply crush the competition from supermarkets.
Oh, and I should mention we have a £75 voucher to get you started with your first case. Just check out our table below.
Why are Naked Wines Better?
The answer is surprisingly simple: they have given the power to the winemakers. Your average supermarket wine has been so fiercely negotiated down in price that the winemakers supplying those are forced to produce their wine as cheaply as possible to make the smallest of margin for themselves. Wine is an expensive business both in the vineyard and the winery, and when you consider there are bottles selling for below £4 out there, it doesn't take a genius to work out that the wine juice itself is only valued in the pennies! That’s not value for money. Value for money in wine is making the juice worth a much greater component of all the costs in a bottle of wine. So, sure, you may find the wines at Naked are £9 and up, but if you’re saving towards the Naked piggy bank each month anyway then you can avoid the cheap stuff and start putting your pennies where it counts. Good wine made by passionate people is the only wine you should be drinking!
The Naked community
And this passion you can see for yourself in more than just the bottle. The community at Naked is boundless, allowing you to learn all about your favourite winemakers, contact them and even get the chance to pay them a visit at the cellar door – if you fancy a holiday. Learn about their most popular wines such as Arabella, an award-winning wine brand made by the de Wet’s in Robertson Valley, South Africa. Or check out Christian Patat Appassimento and how he became a self-taught winemaking legend. There are videos, commentators and more to get stuck into. It is a real community for people who love wine and want to learn more. Even if you don’t really care about all that, you’re still going to be drinking the good stuff.
By now I’m sure you’ll be dying to get involved so I won’t delay you any longer. Just don’t miss our £75 Naked Wines Voucher!
