After a brief hiatus (thank you COVID-19), we are absolutely delighted to welcome back the WinesDirect Awards for 2022.
For those who are new here, (or anyone who needs reminding) the WinesDirect Awards are designed to celebrate all of your favourite Beer, Wine and Spirits Merchants & Brands.
Until now, these awards have been entirely voted for by the Consumer – and we are very passionate about keeping it this way.
However, over the last 24 months, we’ve been lucky enough to be working with Master of Wine, Chris Burr. You may recognise his name from the many fantastic and insightful articles he writes for us.
Chris has an expansive and lengthy career in the Wine industry, encompassing everything from Vineyard Management to Marketing for some of the world’s leading brands.
This year, we wanted to bring in another element to the WinesDirect Awards with a special focus on reducing Environmental impact. Chris will therefore be presenting a special ‘Eco-award’ to any merchant or brand that we can see are taking measures to reduce their carbon footprint.
Voting is simple, all we ask is for you to complete a simple 5-minute survey. Feel free to wax lyrical about all your favourites! We love hearing your thoughts and passing on feedback to our merchant partners.
